Marble Dale Pub was opened in 1973 with 5 partners. After one and half years two of the partners sold their share. That left Thomas Wilson, Aura Showah(Wilson) and Douglas Waterbury. We were very young 22 years old and 25 years old. We had a concept of serving good food and drinks at affortable prices. The drinking age at that time was 18 years old and we catered to the young adult. We started having live entertainment. Great bands, 8 to the Bar, Homesick John O'Leary, Jon Hammond and of course lots of local talent, Brother Jump,The News and lots more. We were always busy with lines trying to get in.
